JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a creative and talented Multimedia Editor to join our team. This individual will be responsible for creating publications and editing videos in both long-form and short-form formats, with a focus on creating engaging content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of video editing software, social media trends, and the ability to craft visually appealing and shareable content.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Video Editing: Edit long-form videos, including program videos and promotional content. Add animations to long-form content to keep it engaging.
2. Short-Form Content: Create short and attention-grabbing videos tailored to platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels, incorporating trending music, effects, and challenges to increase reach and engagement.
3. Graphic Design: Design aesthetically pleasing graphic photos with the use of Adobe photoshop
4. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and creative teams to align video and photo content with overall brand and marketing strategies.
5. Stay Updated: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in video editing, social media, and content creation to keep our content fresh and competitive.
6. Feedback Integration: Actively seek and incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to improve the quality and impact of content.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Video Editing Skills: Proven experience in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
2. Graphic Design Skills: Proficiency in graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva to create visually appealing graphics, overlays, and animations for video content and social media posts.
3. Social Media Savvy: In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, especially TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, and an understanding of what type of content performs best on each.
4. Creativity: A strong creative flair with the ability to create visually appealing  video content and social media posts.
5. Attention to Detail: Meticulous editing skills to ensure high-quality video output and error-free social media posts.
6. Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to evolving social media trends and changes in video editing software/tools.
7. Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous video editing and social media content creation work is highly desirable.
