Job Summary
A meticulous Quality Assurance Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will support both internal and external audits, assist in the creation of manuals, and help ensure the company’s compliance with regulatory standards. You’ll play a key role in monitoring and improving our quality assurance processes and collaborate with government agencies to ensure aircraft airworthiness and compliance with aviation regulations.
Job Responsibilities
Audit and Compliance Support
- Assist in developing and maintaining company manuals, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in and conduct internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to aviation standards.
- Review and issue company and personnel authorization for the Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO).
- Conduct station assessments and investigations.
- Audit vendors, suppliers, and service providers in line with regulatory
requirements.
Regulatory Training and Monitoring
- Provide training on regulatory matters such as the Philippine Civil Aviation Regulations (PCAR), Human Factors (HF), and maintenance procedures.
- Assist the Director of Quality (DOQ) in monitoring company compliance with PCAR.
- Coordinate and liaise with government agencies like the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) and National Telecommunication Commission regarding aircraft airworthiness.
Audit Reports and Corrective Actions
- Perform audits and report on findings, including non-conformities.
- Assist in the evaluation of non-conformities and contribute to corrective action plans.
- Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions during subsequent audits.
- Record any challenges faced during audits and report them to the Quality Manager.
Continuous Improvement and Procedure
- Maintain a strong knowledge of company procedures and industry standards.
- Ensure audits are performed according to quality standards and in compliance with technical documentation.
- Propose modifications to audit tasks when procedures are not in compliance or have become obsolete.
Annual Audit Planning
- Assist in preparing and executing the comprehensive annual audit plan for the Air Operator Certificate (AOC).
Qualifications
- Holds a Bachelors degree in Aviation, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Possesses a valid CAAP license (such as Aircraft Maintenance Technician, Specialist, or Commercial Pilot License) or has a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) or Air Operator Certificate (AOC) holder.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledgeable in Civil Aviation Regulations (CAR).
- Has completed training in Safety, Quality Assurance, Auditing, or Aircraft Accident Investigation.
