Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct bookkeeping and filing expenses using Xero and liaise with compliance providers (SEC, BIR, DOST, et al.)
- Develop and implement a robust financial system to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and financial controls.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Oversee aspects of operations, including production planning, inventory management, and supply chain-- with the opportunity to oversee the production plant.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, R&D) to ensure alignment and optimize business performance.
- Develop and implement data-driven operational strategies, leveraging analytics to gain insights and improve decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or operations management.
- Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software, with a solid understanding of bookkeeping and expense filing.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., SEC, BIR, DOST) and experience liaising with relevant agencies.
- Must be amenable to working on-site in Makati four (4) days a week for the first 3 to 6 months. Flexible arrangements may be considered after the probationary period.
