Jr. Compliance Officer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Jr. Compliance Officer to join our team!

Job Summary

As a Jr. Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring that all loan transactions, documentation, and processes are compliant with internal policies, regulatory standards, and approved credit proposals.

Job Responsibilities

KYC and Loan Documentations Support

  • Assist in ensuring the completeness and accuracy of client-submitted KYC documentations, loan and collateral documents against approved loan terms.
  • Ensure loan documents meet legal, regulatory, and internal standards, and are properly signed, stored, and filed in the Company's system.
  • Keep loan documentation trackers and documentation logs up to date.
  • Identify deficiencies in submissions and coordinate with relevant teams to address issues within set timelines.

Regulatory Compliance Support

  • Assist the In-House Counsel in ensuring compliance with the SEC, BIR, LRA, NPC, CIC, AMLC, BSP, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and organize filings, certifications, reports, submissions and compliance-related documentation for clients, regulators (e.g. SEC, BIR), and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor regulatory deadlines and coordinate timely filings and renewals.
  • Liaise with SEC, BIR, local government offices, and other agencies as needed, and banks.

Legal and Compliance Research

  • Conduct legal and regulatory research to support company compliance and risk management
  • Process “Documents In Order” (DIO) approvals and clearances.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.
  • 1–2 years of experience in compliance, documentation, or credit operations in a financial institution or lending company.
  • Preferably with prior experience in banks, lending companies, or similar industries.
  • Knowledge of Philippine lending regulations (e.g. BSP, SEC, CIC, AMLA), loan documentation, and collateral handling.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines and document tracking.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and document management systems.
