Business Development Intern (Fintech Sales)

We’re looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Business Development Intern to join our team.

This isn't your typical internship.

You won't be making decks no one reads or sitting in on meetings you weren't invited to. You'll be hands on talking to real companies, building a real pipeline, and helping scale a fintech platform that is changing how Filipinos access their salaries

You'll work closely with the team behind the startup that lets employees access part of their salary before payday, helping them avoid predatory loans and improve their financial wellbeing.

If you're competitive, enjoy talking to people, and want to learn how companies actually win customers, this internship will teach you more than most entry-level roles.

What You'll Be Doing

Your core mission is building the top of our sales funnel.

  • Cold calling BPOs, agencies, and mid-sized employers. This is a core part of the role
  • Cold email and LinkedIn outreach: Crafting messages that actually get replies
  • Lead generation: Identifying and qualifying HR leaders and decision-makers
  • Pipeline management: Tracking outreach and managing follow-ups in our CRM
  • Booking discovery calls and demos for the founding team
  • Sharing market feedback to help improve our messaging and targeting

Who We're Looking For

We care more about attitude and drive than perfect experience.

  • Currently enrolled in a university program or a recent graduate
  • Curious about startups, fintech, or business development
  • Comfortable talking to people and not afraid to pick up the phone
  • Resilient: Rejection doesn't slow you down
  • Communicates clearly and confidently in Tagalog and English
  • Organized and reliable when following up on leads

Bonus Points

  • Experience with cold calling, telemarketing, or outreach
  • Familiarity with Notion, CRM platforms, or sales tools
  • Interest in fintech, HR tech, or the Philippine startup ecosystem

Experience in sales, customer service, or any people-facing role is a strong plus but not required.
