Position Overview
The Spare Parts Inventory Supervisor & Analyst is responsible for overseeing and optimizing Motorento’s spare parts inventory across all operational hubs. The role includes supervising daily stock movement, ensuring data accuracy in the ERP system, analyzing consumption trends, and supporting procurement decisions. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and highly comfortable working with digital tools to ensure efficient, transparent, and well-coordinated spare parts management.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management & Control
- Oversee day-to-day spare parts inventory operations, ensuring accurate recording, storage, issuance, and returns of parts.
- Maintain and update inventory records using ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Verify and reconcile physical stock against system records through periodic cycle counts and audits.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company standards on storage, labeling, handling, and quality control of parts.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze inventory and consumption data to forecast demand, identify slow-moving or obsolete items, and determine optimal reorder levels.
- Prepare and submit regular inventory, usage, and variance reports for management review.
- Ensure correct application of local taxation and pricing structures in parts billing and reporting.
Coordination & Procurement Support
- Coordinate with Fleet Technicians and Service Hubs to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and maintenance.
- Provide procurement with accurate stock status and initiate purchase requisitions for replenishment.
- Communicate stock concerns, discrepancies, or risks to relevant teams promptly.
Process Improvement & Digital Systems
- Support implementation and improvement of ERP workflows, digital inventory tools, and control processes.
- Assist with developing or updating SOPs related to spare parts management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or related operational roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of basic ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Background or interest in the motorcycle or automotive industry is a plus.
- Basic understanding of pricing, cost structures, and local tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Tech-savvy with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills; comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in a motorcycle or automotive OEM, dealership, or service environment is preferred.
Work Set-up
- Location: Makati, Philippines
- Schedule: Full-time, office-based position with occasional field visits to hubs or warehouses
- Working Time: 6 days/week 8 hours/day Reporting time: 8:30 AM
