Job Summary
As a Data Science Intern, you will play a key role in sourcing and processing data to support market intelligence efforts within the used car industry. Your responsibilities will include developing and optimizing tools for data collection and transformation, ensuring data quality and consistency, and working closely with the engineering team to support data-driven decision-making. This is a hands-on opportunity to strengthen your data engineering and analytics skills while contributing to impactful projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain data acquisition pipelines to collect automotive market information from a variety of online sources.
- Monitor and schedule data collection tasks to ensure reliable and timely updates.
- Optimize and maintain data workflows efficiency to handle large volumes of data.
- Clean, organize, and analyze collected datasets to extract actionable insights.
- Generate regular data reports and visualizations for internal teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and support analytical initiatives.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Python and libraries such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or Selenium for online content processing and system integration.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL) for storing and processing large datasets.
- Experience with data visualization tools for generating reports.
- Understanding of APIs and data extraction techniques.
- Experience with data cleaning and processing.
- Ability to work independently and deliver tasks on time.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Available to work on-site three (3) times a week.
