About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled SEO Content Writer to create high-quality, search-optimized content that drives organic traffic, improves rankings, and supports our overall content marketing strategy. This role requires a strong understanding of SEO best practices, on-page optimization, keyword research, and the ability to write clear, engaging, authoritative content that matches searcher intent.
Job Responsibilities
- Research, plan, and write SEO-optimized content including blog posts, landing pages, product descriptions, and long-form articles.
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search terms and content opportunities.
- Optimize existing content for search performance, including improving structure, readability, internal linking, and on-page SEO.
- Collaborate with the SEO and marketing team to develop content strategies and editorial calendars.
- Ensure content aligns with brand voice, target audience needs, and search intent.
- Implement on-page SEO best practices such as metadata, headers, image optimization, schema basics, and content formatting.
- Stay up to date with search trends, algorithm changes, and content SEO best practices.
- Work with designers, editors, and other content contributors to produce polished, high-quality deliverables.
- Perform competitive analysis to identify content gaps and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an SEO Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword intent, and content optimization techniques.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to produce clear, compelling content.
- Ability to simplify complex topics and write with accuracy and authority.
- Experience with SEO tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
- Solid understanding of on-page SEO elements (metadata, internal linking, structure).
- Ability to work with briefs, adhere to deadlines, and follow brand guidelines.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of HTML formatting is a plus.
