Job Summary
Motorento is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business & Operations Data Analyst to work across Finance, Operations, Fleet, and Spare Parts teams. The analyst will be responsible for collecting, validating, managing, and owning all critical business data. This role ensures that daily operational dashboards and leadership insights are always accurate, up-to-date, and actionable.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical rigor with excellent coordination skills, capable of working with multiple internal teams and systems to extract meaningful business insights.
Job Responsibilities
Data Collection & Management
- Gather data daily from Finance, Operations, Fleet, Spare Parts, and internal systems.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized repository of data across all functions.
- Establish data accuracy checks and validation processes.
- Own the end-to-end data pipeline and ensure zero gaps or inconsistencies.
Dashboard & Reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards (Excel/Google Sheets/other tools) for leadership review.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly performance reports.
- Highlight trends, risks, delays, or anomalies with clear explanations.
- Support leadership by generating data-backed insights and forecasts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with functional leads and team members to ensure timely data submission.
- Support the Fleet and Spare Parts teams by tracking KPIs (PMS schedules, repairs, parts consumption, etc.).
- Work with Finance for revenue, cost, and collection reporting.
- Work with Operations to monitor rider performance, utilization, and key service metrics.
Process Improvement
- Recommend improvements in data collection methods and process automation.
- Standardize data formats, templates, and KPI frameworks.
- Support implementation of basic reporting systems and dashboards as Motorento scales.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable college/university (Business, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, or related).
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, automation).
- Familiarity with BI tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert raw data into insights.
- Experience in E-commerce, Delivery, Logistics, or Fleet Management preferred.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Tech-savvy, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
